ETS brought expertise in research design, methods, and measurement, along with technical capacity to conduct research projects, within their partnership with EF+Math.

From 2020 – 2023, the ETS team provided technical assistance to the EF+Math R&D teams for their research plans and measurement decisions, as well the development of their theories of action. During this time, ETS also provided strategic advisory to the EF+Math program team to inform portfolio management of scientific innovation. In 2025, ETS conducted an independent study of teacher perspectives of executive function skills in mathematics instruction.
